Path Seeker Verse
"Through patience a ruler can be persuaded,
and a gentle tongue can break a bone."
Proverbs 25:15

Path Finder Lesson

Patience with Authority

A person who is in authority needs to exercise the gift of patients often. Those who are under his authority need to remember, when they are patient with the one who is in charge, that person will be more likely to listen to them. Being gentle with your speech can do a lot of good. God does not intend that this will really "break bones," however, He is trying to tell us how powerful this gift of patience can be.

Path Connection Prayer

Heavenly Father,

I ask that You help me be patient with my parents, teachers, church leaders and with You, Lord. Remind me to speak with gentle respect to those in authority over me.
