Tid Bits for the soul!

Remember Me!

Many times the Bible tells where God instructed His people to build altars of stone so they would always be reminded of His Mighty power and presence with His people. It is no less important for us to follow these instruction as His children. God knows how quickly we forget His wondereous works. He wants us to pass them on so the next generation will know Him! If we do not, Satan has a pack of lies wrapped up tidy for their distruction. God is a God of love, but He is also a God who hates sin. He sees the wickedness of men and by His grace, He reveals His words and His mighty works to save them. He wants and deserves our obedience.

When the whole nation had finished crossing the Jordan, the LORD said to Joshua, "Choose twelve men from among the people, one from each tribe, and tell them to take up twelve sones from the middle of the Jordan from right where the priests stood and to carry them over with you and put them own at the place where you stay tonight."
Joshua 4:1-3

Tell it to your children, and let your children tell it to their children, and their children to the next generation. Joel 1-3
