Curses and Blessings

 

 

Have you wondered why we humans work so hard? There is so much to do and it seems we have little time for rest. God makes it clear in Genesis, we are to work. It really is part of the curse we received when Adam chose to disobey God. However, God did not leave us in the curse. He provided relief and release from it. He is a merciful God. He has chosen to give us blessings. One of those is our day of rest. God can take that day, when we give it to Him, and use it to benefit all of our days. God's blessings come with our worship to Him. He inhabits the praise and worship of His people. Giving the Sabbath day to God can make even our work days restful!
