Commands! Not Request

 

 

When God Commands we better listen! He is not politely asking us to respect His Name. He has commanded us not to misuse it in any way. When I hear the words "Jesus" and "Jesus Christ" used as slang words, the Holy Spirit within me winces. Jesus is the Name above all names. He is our Savior, Lord and King. God provided us with Salvation and an escape from an eternal life in hell. The Holy Spirit is God in us. I hope you will remember this each time you hear or begin to use the names of God irreverently.
