Tid Bits for the soul!

Under the table!

Remember the story of Jesus and the money changers, where He turns over the tables in anger about their sin? Maybe they thought they could hide their greed and the sins they were committing against their fellow Israelites from God. When our own sin becomes apparent to others, should our first thoughts be in fear of how the truth will effect us? As Christians, we know we are growing up in the Lord when our first thoughts are, "How much does this hurt God" and "What will my actions do to His Kingdom purpose of saving lost souls?" Think about your love for God and others before you "leap into sin" and experience the anguish of disappointing God.
