God's
Search - Hide and Go Seek
God's
Word says you cannot know His Son, Jesus, unless the Father draws
you close to Him. He seeks you and He searches your heart! He
knows your present thoughts, and your future thoughts. He is
pleased when He finds you seeking Him too!
"The
Lord says, "I look deep down inside human hearts. I see
what is in people's minds. I reward a man in keeping with his
conduct. I bless him based on what he has done." Jeremiah
17:10
Jesus
Christ is the only way to know God. He is the only one who can
keep us from being seperated from God. Jesus is our loving Savior
and Lord.
"For the Son
of Man came to seek and to save what was lost." Luke 19:10
Our
biggest blessing comes when our Heavenly Father draws us to His
Son, Jesus. God wants us to know we have nothing to do with our
salvation. It is all from God. It is all Jesus! He sent Him to
find us and teach us about Himself. His Holy Spirit draws us
close so we can receive the Father's greatest gift of love! We
should always give thanks to God for His loving kindness!
The
Critters love to play hide and go seek. Joshua is "it"
and he will search for the others. He has to count to ten and
keep a watchful eye. They are not easy to find. When he starts
to look, they will begin running to home base. They must touch
the tree to win the game!
It's
the same with God. One way God brings us to His Son, Jesus, is
to have others tell us about Him and how knowing Him has blessed
their lives. Everyone seeks God. They may not even know it. God
is seeking all people. They must receive Jesus as Savior and
let Him be the boss of their lives for Him to become thier Lord.
They will win an eternal life with God in Heaven.

There
is no greater love than the love Jesus gave to us. He died on
the cross so we can know God and live eternally in Heaven with
Him. Come back next week and we'll look at God's Valentine to
