New Beginnings
- Rise and Shine
Yesterday might have
been a very good day for you. Maybe you were the best person
you know how to be. Or, yesterday might have been a very bad
day. You might remember you did some things or said some things
that were not so good. God has a wonderful blessing for you!
He says that He will give you a New Beginning with each new day.
You can wake up in the morning and ask Jesus to help you have
a good day. That's a great way to "Rise and Shine."
If you shine a light
for Jesus, it means you will show others how wonderful it is
to know Him. When we ask God to forgive our bad days, He is faithful
to forgive us. He can help us with every new day. His love is
the same, all the time! He wants us to choose to have good days.
No matter what we are facing, He will never leave us alone. If
we stay wrapped up in self concerns we aren't much good to Him.
God is pleased when He can use our faith in Him to help others.
Gramma Cherbear brings
fresh juice to her Critters every morning. It is not always easy
for them to start a new day. They need a burst of loving kindness
to get them going. With the help of some tender loving care,
they will soon be able to rise and shine to meet the new day.
If our first thoughts
in the morning are of how much God loves us, then we will be
able to look at the new day with joy in our hearts. Each morning
when we awake, we can know God's love never changes. Each day
is a New Beginning and filled with New Blessings. Jesus Christ
wants a love relationship with us. He wants us to praise Him
and trust Him to handle anything that comes our way.
