Notes for the Teacher!

What Shall We Eat?

part 2

Teachers may add their own creative skills and special touches. You can use snacks, play games, select music and/or use a study of the people in the Bible chosen by God to teach this lesson. At Calvary Kidz Church, we will be having our church drama team present a skit with some of the lessons. Each week is different. Be creative and capture their attention. Remember they will be getting to know the Critters, their personalities, and be able to relate to them as time goes on.

Greet new members and introduce them to the class and the Critters.

Open the class with a prayer.

Read the Bible Verse for the day!

The Bible Says:
Don't spend time thinking about what you will eat or drink. Don't worry about it...But put God's kingdom first. Then those things will also be given to you. Luke 12:29-31

Objective:

(Speak with the children)
God wants you to share what you have with others. He has made sure the animals in the forest have what they need. He blesses His children with even more. God will always take care of your needs, when you share your blessings with others. Can you think of what God has given to you? What can you share with others? Ask God to show you what He wants you to share.

(Teach the children)
Will God bless us if we share? The Bible says He will. The Bible is God's Word to us. God tells the truth. He cannot lie. He wants us to trust Him. How should we feel about giving to others? The Bible also says, "God loves a cheerful giver."

"You should each give what you have decided in your heart to give. You shouldn't give because you are forced to. God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to shower all kinds of blessings on you." 2 Corinthians 9:7-8

(Let the Critters help teach the lesson)

What Shall We Eat? part 2
Cami Cub and Emmi Squirrel are having a great time sharing all the food God has given them. They did not think about keeping it all for themselves. Emmi may need help with the honey. Cami is happy to have fruits and nuts. They will store some of their food for the winter. They will also share some with others.

God has put all the nuts, berries and used bees to make the honey. Cami Cub and Emmi Squirrel are sharing with happy hearts.

(closing)
Repeat today's Bible verse.
Sharing with others is part of taking care of God's kingdom. We can share what God has given and still have everything we need. Share with a happy heart! Ask Mom or Dad to help you see God's reason for sharing.

Worship God with music.
