In my relationship with God: Sometimes, I am soaring with the eagles. When God sets me to soar because of my obedience to Him, it just doesn't get any better than soaring. I like soaring! Isa. 40:31 ... those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Sometimes, I am walking in the high places. When God sets my feet in the high places because of my walk with Jesus, there is no greater path to walk. I love the high places! Ps. 18:33 He makes my feet like the feet of a deer; he enables me to stand on the heights. Amos 4:13 He who forms the mountains, creates the wind, and reveals his thoughts to man, he who turns dawn to darkness, and treads the high places of the earth-- the LORD God Almighty is his name. Sometimes, God calls me to rest, my faith in Him, on a peaceful glide. Gliding on the wings of the Dove. Resting in the Lord, as I view my circumstance from up high on the wings of the Dove. Then, the cross of Calvary is in full vision! I really need to glide! Sometimes I sit quietly with God. Listening to Him speak through my prayers, His Word and of course the circumstances that I am facing, often places me right there, on the wings of the Dove. "IN FAITH, HE..." allows me to draw near to Him, then He draws near to me! Selah (Just think of that.) Ps. 46:10 "Be still, and know that I am God" Thank you Father for letting this unworthy child soar with the eagles. I love walking with Jesus in the high places. I thank you for my need to glide and draw near to you! Your Spirit comforts me, when I am unsettled, and reminds me to look at the cross. You are God, help me to be still! #11 Supply and Demand Quality Entertainment I love to entertain and be entertained. In my youth, I delighted myself in attention motivated folly to entertain family and I entertained myself with paper doll designs. For many adult years, I entertained clients from behind my hydraulic chair, as I entertained myself creating hair designs. Drawn in later years to art classes, I quickly excelled in the natural media arts. We have a plethora of negative entertainment from which to choose. One option for Christians is to stop support of it! One solution, Christians producing quality entertainment as the Holy Spirit works to change the hearts of man to seek it. God has given every new born believer gifts in which they can excel. It is His desire they be used for the Kingdom purpose. 1Cor. 14:12 ...try to excel in gifts that build up the church. You may not exhibit talents to entertain, paint, or write. I must confess, I have none of these without God's provision. "IN FAITH, HE..." provides the inspiration to create a child's book. If I paint without Him, stick people are a good choice. Writing without Him, I am awkward and cannot communicate my thoughts. God must do it! Matt. 19:26 Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." NIV Choose appropriate entertainment for yourself and your family; Help provide entertainment that will honor God! Pray for God to direct your path. He will do it! The web is one source I use for sharing Jesus with my time and talents. I hope to encourage other Christians to get involved in providing worthwhile entertainment in the internet. He created the internet for Himself! Col. 1:16 ...all things were created by him and for him. NIV

#12 Agape Love in Marriage and the Home/Agape Love In and For Jesus Christ Without revealing details, I confess, Cherbear's marriage and family life have not always been as they are today. One day our children reached the age of outside influences, and to be truthful, my husband and I had never experienced an escape from them. We professed Christ. I taught Sunday School. We helped with the youth and lived as Christians. We were a typical, seemingly happy and well adjusted family unit. What didn't we know? What was missing? What did it almost cost us? We had not learned about the Agape love of God! Jesus Christ was missing as the center of our daily lives, and it almost cost us our family! We were blind sided by the evil one, He and our sinful natures almost destroyed us. Disastrous choices, heartbreak, despair and pain invaded our home. We had some knowledge of forgiveness. However, we had trouble grasping a quick, death of self, forgiveness.

Seeking God and His answers became the central focus of our marriage. "IN FAITH, HE..." placed a hunger in our hearts and minds for the truths in His Word. He led us to a church where the Bible was preached without compromise. We learned about the Agape love that is in every born again believer in Jesus Christ. This is the love that took Jesus to the cross to die for us, knowing of the sin abounding in us. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and His love is made complete in us. 1John 4:11 NIV The unconditional Agape love of God! And it lives inside of US! What a revelation! We can call on God to help us love the way He loves! Jesus became the first priority and center focus of our lives. We began extending that Agape love right back to Him. Unconditional love FOR GOD! What a concept! The more we loved Him, the more our marriage began to flourish in love, cooperation, forgiveness, kindness, understanding, and patience. We were careful to love, not hurt. To build up, not tear down. To be attentive and giving, not disinterested and self centered. In learning how to live God's truths in our marriage and home, we were soon able to begin extending that love to our church family and then to our community and the world. It all begins with submission to God in the home. With Jesus in the center, all else falls into place. He wants an unconditional love relationship with us. In marriage, we are to become One in Christ. The overflow becomes natural as we live Spirit filled in and for Jesus Christ. Father God, How wonderfully you have provided for those who love You. Unfailing is your Love and your Word! You are worthy of all our praise! #13 Worry and Stress vs. Faith and Trust Foreword: This keyboard looks a lot like my empty art canvas at the moment. Asked to write an article on worry, I've agreed to do so, and now I'm worried. A suggestion has come to me, "Why not do it while still in fear?" Normally, I await the inner peace of the Holy Spirit, then I begin to write or paint. This time I will confront worry and fear head on with the Spirit of the Lord, before the calmness comes! Worry and Stress vs. Faith and Trust My background is conducive to worry. I learned it from the best of teachers. My Mother. I remember admiring her for it. I felt it was a decent trait as it reflected her loving and caring nature. Family members have told me I am just like my Mom. In that area, a clone! A compliment to me as she is the best Mom God ever molded. I love being compared to Mom. This precious lady suffered many years of poor health, I believe traceable to the worry she allowed to consume her. She worried to a point of physical illness. When bad things happened in our family, we sheltered Mom. We all worried she could not handle bad news. I wonder what they kept from me? "IN FAITH, HE..." did not leave us in our chosen state of worry. In these later years, as we walk with Jesus and seek God's will, He has revealed a better way. Turning worries into prayers! We now watch to see what God is doing in the circumstances of our lives, amazed as He brings good out of every evil that comes our way. Mom functions wonderfully with the new light she chooses to shine. I hope the clone analogy continues. Philippians 4:6-7 "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts, and your minds in Christ Jesus." Paul goes on to tell us how to accomplish this. He exhorts us to think on what is good, true and beautiful, and to live our lives in Christ Jesus. Worry is something we feel. It is a demon spirit. We will always have feelings and we must confront the spirit of worry by God's Mighty Power in the Name of Jesus! When worry comes, pause and pray. Remember who you are in Christ. Exercising faith and trust in the Lord brings the victory and sets us free from worry. Experience His fullness in the bad times! See the goodness of God in all things! In a close love relationship with Jesus, you can see through His eyes. If you don't know Him, accept Jesus as your personal Savior and the Lord of your life. Ask Him into your heart. Give Him the sins He paid for and submit your life to Him. Receive the victory, and the peace and joy only He can give. Thank You God. You were already in this article before I hit the first key. When worry comes, You are quick to calm me and give me courage. I praise You for Your love and power. Your strength is perfect in my weakness.
