Not a Friend

A friend who would lie to you or lie about you, is no friend at all. Lying only brings hurt to ourselves and others. If we lie to someone, we have to find ways to keep them from finding out about it. We feel guilty because God has told us not to lie. Lying about someone can hurt them and hurt us. No one wants to be friends with someone they know will tell them lies. We can be a good friend if we always tell the truth.

 

Path Connection Prayer

Heavenly Father,

Sometimes I am tempted to lie. I always feel bad when I tell a lie. Help me to be brave enough to always tell the truth. Help me to be a loving and trust worthy friend.
