Honor Among Friends

In Matthew 22:39, Jesus says we are to love others as we love ourselves. In Romans 12:10, Paul tells us we are to love and honor our Christian brothers and sisters more than ourselves. We are to be careful not to hurt them or cause them to be sad. Good friends encourage and pray for each other. We will have good friends when we become a good friend to others. We need to be honest and loyal. God will help us become the kind of friend they need when we study and learn about Him in the Holy Bible.

 

Path Connection Prayer

Heavenly Father,

I want to do what you say and be good to my Christian friends and family. Help me remember to think about the feelings of others. I want to encourage and bring happiness to them.
