When we are unkind
to our friends or tell lies about a classmate, it is like we
are killing their happy heart and filling it with bad feelings.
We need to think carefully about what we say. God wants us to
speak kind words. He wants us to talk about others in ways that
make them feel good about themselves. If you cannot say anything
nice, it is best not to speak at all. Be careful to choose your
words well and help instead of hurt the hearts of others.
