Costume Angel

 

You know what it means to dress up in a costume so no one will know who you really are. Satan knows how to do this too! He pretends to be a good angel that can show us the way to happiness and good things. But God tells us that Satan is a master of disguise. He can make what is horrible and bad for us, seem to be good. When he can trick us into doing what God says is wrong, he knows it will hurt us and God. God wants us to stay very close to Him and what He teaches us in His Word about what is good and what is evil. He does not want Satan to cause us harm.

 

Path Connection Prayer

Father God,

Help me to see all the costumes and tricks of Satan and choose to do and say what You say is right. I ask You to protect me from the lies the devil may tell me about good and evil. I want to know what You say and obey Your commands.

In Jesus Name I pray,
