It was on a Sunday
when Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of James went to the
tomb where Jesus had been put after He was killed on the cross.
They were very close friends to Jesus and very sad because He
had died. They found the stone which covered the tomb was rolled
away. The tomb was empty. Jesus had come back to life and would
be with all of His friends again. God wanted us to know about
the new life we could have because of what Jesus had done. Jesus
is our Lord, our God and He is alive!
