Faith and Peace

 

Believing what God tells us about Jesus is true, is called faith. When we do what our faith tells us and ask Jesus into our hearts, we are saved. It is through faith in Jesus Christ that we are given God's perfect peace, and are no longer His enemies. Did I say, "Enemies?" Yes! When we don't know God, Satan can use us as enemies against God's Kingdom. It is only through Jesus and His love for us that we know how to become "friends" to God. Not just friends, but "God's own children."

Lord Jesus,

Thank You for showing me the way to God and providing my escape from sin. I want to live forever with You.
