Blanket of Love

 

God has placed a blanket of love over those who belong to His Son, Jesus. It is a blanket of forgiveness which erases all of their sins. It is the blood that Jesus shed for us on the cross at Calvary. When we hate, it will stir up all kinds of trouble. God does not want us to hate people. He says we can hate sin, but not the people who sin. This means we must love even those who do wrong. It is only by God's mercy and forgiveness that we know what is right. We can teach right thinking to others by showing them God's love.

 

Path Connection Prayer

Lord Jesus,

I thank You for shedding Your blood on Calvary so I can be forgiven when I do wrong. I want to do what is right and show others Your love and forgiveness. Take away any hate I may feel for another person. Help me to love others to You.
