Do Not Boast

 

God gives all the rewards we need when we help others. When we help others we are not to boast and brag about what we have done. God says that is being a hypocrite. If you help others so you can be praised for it, you have helped for the wrong reason. God says to help and just be quiet about what you have done. He knows and that is all that is important. Help because you love God first and want to take His goodness and kindness to others.

 

Path Connection Prayer

Heavenly Father,

When I am tempted to tell everyone about the good I have done, help me remember the praise belongs to You. Help me to remember to be good and kind to others.
