Gentle Speech

 

God is not in our arguments. He has no part in our angry mean words to others. We are living in the flesh doing as we want to do when we show this kind of anger. God wants us to hold our words, wait on Him, and speak in gentle words so the anger can leave us. When anger comes, we need to seek God and ask Him to help us control our anger and not speak harshly. Others will follow our lead when we encourage gentle speech.

 

Path Connection Prayer

Father God,

There is no joy in my heart when anger is stirred up. I ask that You help me control my anger and bring gentle speech back to mouth and let others see that Your ways are best.
