Belt of Truth & Armor of Godliness

 

The Bible says the Gospel (Good News) of Jesus Christ is Truth. The Word of God is Truth. The Holy Spirit is Truth. If we are to stand up to the evils of the world, we need to have the Truth in our hearts. Reading the Bible, accepting Jesus Christ as our personal Savior and receiving His Holy Spirit will give us what we need. Because people have no godliness of their own, they must have the godliness of Jesus Christ in their hearts.

 

Path Connection Prayer

Holy Spirit,

Thank you for leading me to Jesus and giving me understanding of the Bible. Help me use the Word of God to fight against the evil in the world. Help me study and learn Your Word. I praise Jesus for helping me live with godliness.
